Sue Ann (Susan) Bell Douglas was born on September 13, 1954 in New Orleans, LA. She was native to Belle Rose, LA and resided in Prairieville, LA. She transitioned on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Baton Rouge General-Bluebonnet.

Susan accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Philip Sherman at Rose Hill Baptist Church. She was employed as an insurance professional for more than 40 years. Susan faithfully served New St John Fellowship for over 20 years. Inspired by her love for music, she became the Director of the NSJF Senior Choir. She was an active member of the New Members Committee and the Ministers' & Deacons' Wives until her transition.

Susan is survived by and leaves to cherish her memories of love; her daughter, Kameka Stephens; son, Jonathan Stephens; 4 bonus kids, O'Neal Jr. (Debbie), Elgin, Terry, and Cathy Douglas; 3 brothers, Otis Williams, Sr. (Marion), Lionel Bell, Sr. (Jean), and Apostle Chester Bell (Linda); 2 sisters, Rita Bell Nelson (Louis, Sr.) and Jean Bell Davis; 1 brother-in-law, Murphy Douglas (Bobbie); 2 grandchildren, Mikah and Tony Stovall II and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Susan was proceeded in death by her husband, O'Neal Douglas, Sr; granddaughter, Kalan Amani Davis; parents, Oscar Williams, Sr. and Ida Rebecca Bell Moore; siblings, Oscar Jr, Johnny and Roy Williams, Ernest Lee Joseph, Maxine Knockum, Ida Faye Bell, and Glender Bell.
