Susan K. Woods Bridges, Registered Nurse at Amedisys Home Health Care and resident of Prairieville, LA, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday August 31, 2021. She died of breast cancer at the age of 61.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Christian Assembly Full Gospel Church, 42158 Highway 941, Gonzales, LA 70737. Visitation 10 am – 11 am. Service begins at 11am; Pastor Richard Rayborn II officiating. Due to ongoing risks associated with Covid-19, everyone in attendance is asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.  Interment at Rest Haven Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Baton Rouge.

Susan leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Anthony Bridges; four sons Damien Bridges, Damon Bridges (Amber), Anthony Bridges, Jr., and Earin Bridges; mother Savanah Richardson; two brothers  Hosea Woods (Judy) and Byron Richardson(Sarah); one nephew Irah    Bunting; two sisters-in-law Cheryl Lovely and Cynthia Thompson (Ed) and a host of relatives, loved ones and friends

She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Herman Woods; sister Tracy Woods; father-in-law Walter Bridges, Sr.; mother-in-law Fredia Germaine; brother-in-law Walter Bridges, Jr.
