Susie Mae Carmichael, 99 years of age, a resident of Prairieville, La., passed away Thursday, January 7, 2015. at Gonzales Healthcare Center.

She is survived by a son, Robert Brown (Shirley), seven grandchildren: Brad Lancaster (Kim), Darryl Lancaster (Dewana), Alfred Brown (Marie), Kathy Lancaster, Frederick Brown (Jeanette), Karma Warren (Dwayne), Jovan Bell; 14 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, two special nephews Rev. Freddie McField and Floyd McField, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter, one son, six brothers, and five sisters.
