Thelma “Mackie” Reder Allison passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to the late Willie Reder, Sr., and Thelma Moultrie. She was the loving wife of the late Harold C. Allison, Sr.

She was the proud mother of the late Harold C. Allison, II; Rev. Gervais H. Allison, Sr.; Rhonda N. Thomas (S.J.); and Ingrid A. Colbert.

She was the sister of the late Bertel Reder, Sr.; Willie Reder, Sr.; Andrew Reder, Sr.; Ronald Reider; Velma Gilliam; Robbie Dunaway; and Mary Theresa Reder. She was the last surviving sibling.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Ariane, Ashley, Bertrand Eugene III, Whitney Sims, Geremy Allison, Jasmine Horn, and Tiffinee Haley; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 300 North Blake Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana 70601. Reverend Elmore Garner is the host pastor. Reverend Gervais H. Allison, Sr., will officiate.

Interment will follow at Combre Memorial Park, 2701 Opelousas Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home.
