Toni Kingsley Green, Sr., was born on January 16, 1986, at 7:57 A.M. at LakeWood Hospital in Morgan City, LA to Tonie Kingsley Friels and Tekina Friels Wright.

Toni accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized in November of 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia. He later placed his membership at the Evergreen Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Nolan Albert and First Lady Gaynell Albert, where he served until the time of his death.

Toni was educated in the St. Mary Parish School System. He was enrolled at South Central Louisiana Technical College obtaining his GED and was employed by ThomaSea as a laborer. Toni enjoyed playing basketball and spending quality time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face. He was a beloved father, son, brother, grandchild, nephew and friend.

On Saturday, November 18, 2017, at St. James Community Hospital in St. James, LA, God sent for His servant to rest from labor to reward at the age of 31.

Children: Tarieyanna, Eni'Yonna, Ty'Yanna, Tikijha, Tanii, Paisley, Payton, Toni Jr., and Taziya Kinsley (on the way); Mother and Stepfather: TeKina Friels Wright and Anderson Wright, Jr.; Father: Tonie Kingsley Friels; Siblings: Joseph, Michael, Jessica, James and De'Andre Green; Grandparents: Sally Stanley and Beverly Wright; Aunts: Jarenda Friels, LaTasha Jones, Ethel (Russell) Alexander, Maritta (Darren) Jackson, Estelle (Lionel) Nicholas, Jacqueline Wright, and Roxchelle Wright; Uncles: Falanzo Brown, Morris Green, Jr., Nebraska (Shondrell) Green, Shawn Garner, Dwayne Garner, Edwin (Venita) Riney, Whittington Wright and Herbert Lloyd; Godparents: Barbara Ann Carter Green and Dr. Garland Green, Sr.; a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Toni was preceded in death by his grandparents: Morris Green Sr., and Carrie Green, Wilbert Friels and Bernell Wesley; great grandparents: Reverend Joseph Green Sr., and Ruth Jones Green, Beulah Swanson and Frankie Smith; Cousin: DaKaisha Green; Loving Aunt: LaVerne G. DeBose; Devoted Uncle: Roosevelt Smith

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
