Troy Gabriel, a native of Head of Island, LA transitioned peacefully Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at 54. Visitors will be received Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Second Zion Travelers MBC in Head of Island, LA between 9:00AM – 11:00AM. Service will begin at 11:00AM. There will be a private burial at Goodwill Cemetery in Head of Island. Survived by his father, brothers and sisters: father, Julius Austin; two sisters, Tangi Austin, Christina Moore and husband Jimmy of Hammond, LA; and brothers, Gregory Gabriel of Head of Island, LA, Keith Gabriel of Morgan City, LA, Ronald Gabriel Sr. and wife Patricia of Gonzales, LA, Kerry Gabriel Sr. and wife Jean, Eltore Austin and wife Tomesha, Christopher Austin and wife Monique all of Hammond, LA. Troy was Predeceased in death by his loving mother, Auther "Toosie" Gabriel; brothers Barry Gabriel Sr. and Bruce Gabriel; Grandparents, Rodan Harris Gabriel and Sidney Gabriel; Aunt, Hazel Gabriel, and Cousin Roy Payton.
