Viola Scott "Sister", age 88, a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her home in Gonzales.

Viola leaves to cherish her memories, 1 son, Samuel York Sr.(Diana), of Wilson, LA; 2 daughters, Ethel York of  Gonzales, LA and Gloria York Brown of Prairieville, LA.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
