Willie Jones, age 74, a native and resident of Prairieville, La., passed away on April 30, 2016, at his home.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Angela Jones(Prairieville), 2 sons, McKinley Bailey and Johnathan Jones, grandchildren, 4 sisters, Ella Jones-Ashor (Salah), Ruby L. Carter, Viola Jenkins (Larry) and Linda Cosey, an aunt, Archille Batiste and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Felbert Jones, and a brother, Lee West. Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
